I’d been toying with the idea of how to celebrate my cat’s forthcoming birthday.
My furry friend, Gershwin, was fast approaching his 10th birthday so I thought it was high time I got his portrait on canvas to celebrate.
When I saw there was a special on at THE CANVAS FACTORY I wasted no time in ordering.
The biggest challenge was choosing from so many adorable images but after much deliberation, I went for one of his best kitten shots of his early life in Japan.
Having ordered prints in the past and being somewhat disappointed, not only with the quality but also the tone of the print I was a bit apprehensive.
Fortunately, this time around with the ‘guided’ assistance at THE CANVAS FACTORY I was not disappointed.
My next big decision was where to hang it.
All canvas prints are framed and ready to hang. These gallery-wrapped canvas photo prints are a beautiful way to personalise any room in your home and a great keepsake of your pet.
Ease of order
The canvas was easy to order. Firstly, I hit the get started now button and create now and start choosing the size and shape I liked. I went for single canvas which starts from $17.70 but if you are more creative than you can choose from split images, canvas wall displays and canvas collages. Next, I uploaded an image, which can be done from your desktop, Facebook or Instagram. After that, I selected from three wrap styles, including; gallery, mirror or coloured – I chose the first, which means the image wraps around the side of the frame. Next up, you choose the colour and effect – here you can really play around and get really creative. Finally, I input my payment details and I was good to go!

I ordered an 18” x 12” which normally costs $89.00 but got a great discount making it $26.70, plus shipping $14.95 plus GST.
We had lots of fun ordering the canvas print and are very happy with the finished product.
