It’s widely available in supermarkets as well as specialist pet stores and online, making it a convenient choice. We sampled the Grain Free Chicken Pate Wet Cat Food. The tin comes in a larger size than the others, which can be useful if you are feeding more than one cat. Due to the size, the price is a little more expensive. This product contains succulent chicken from NZ that is free from growth hormones, and antibiotics. Slow-cooked, this deluxe chicken pate is said to delivers whole new level of nourishment and satisfaction for your cat.

Our taste testers were very interested in this food at first sample but they left quite a lot of it in the dish creating wastage. Again, it’s a pate, which was quite dense, so if your cats prefer the more brothy blends, they may not go for this.

Ziwi Peak

The Best Tinned Food For Your Cat 2

Despite its healthy ingredients, neither cat was a huge fan of the tinned food probably because they prefer more broth-based blends. We sampled Ziwi Peak Daily Cuisine Chicken 85g.

This tinned food is quite dense and perhaps a bit too strong smelling for my two fussy eaters. They much prefer the Ziwi Pet Proveance Series Air Dried East Cape Recipe Dry Cat.

Chicken, Water Sufficient for Processing, Chicken Liver, Chicken Heart, Chick Peas, New Zealand Green Mussel, Chicken Bone, DL-Methionine, Minerals (Dipotassium Phosphate, Magnesium Sulfate, Zinc Amino Acid Complex, Manganese Amino Acid Complex, Copper Amino Acid Complex), Dried Kelp, Vitamins (Choline Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Niacin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid), Salt, Taurine.
