Pints and pooches AT THE ILLINOIS
Pints and pooches AT THE ILLINOIS: as part of National Puppy Day celebrations on March 23rd, the Illinois Hotel in Five Dock, Sydney will go dog friendly!
And the good news is the new dog-friendly rules at the Illinois will be in place for National Puppy Day from Tuesday, March 23, and will remain ongoing.
With a spacious outdoor beer garden and doggie bowls for pampered pooches, this is a great place to bring your pooch and enjoy a pint – but owners are reminded to have their besties on a leash at all times, and please pick up after them.
Bill Young, owner of the Illinois Hotel says,“It’s great to be able to welcome dogs into the Illinois. We know dogs play a big part in people’s lives – they do for most of the staff at the venue. Our family dog Cosmo the lab loves it in here, it’s great to be able to bring him when we’re always popping in and out.”
Another exciting new addition is the Fat Belly Jack’s food truck located in the beer garden and from this week is serving up Nashville fried chicken, burgers and bar snacks like Dumpster fries, cheeseburger spring rolls and Jalapeno poppers seven days a week (it was previously just Wed-Sun).
The re-launched hotel has undergone an extensive makeover bringing a luxe Beverly Hills meets Palm Springs vibe to the venue. Expect pastel colours, pink neon lighting with the new Flamingo logo and bespoke finishes in brass, timber and marble.
