Dog Friendly: Belongil Beach

Belongil Beach

Belongil Beach is a section of the main beach North of Byron Bay.

This stunning 2.5-km has a dog-friendly section that begins from the car park at Main Beach up to Manfred Street. The further you head away from the car park the quieter the beach gets.

There’s even a great pet-friendly place to stay right on the beach.

Depending on your budget, there’s luxurious accommodation, mid-range or caravan parks that allow pets.

Check out the Treehouse on Belongil, 25 Childe Street, Byron Bay, where four-legged friends have been known to frequent.  This cute bar and café has outside seating ideal for a spot of lunch with you pal after a long stroll on the beach.
