Pets at Paronella Park

While pets are not allowed inside Paronella Park, a complimentary pet sitting service is available for all visitors.

This No1 Must-Do Tourist Attraction in QLD is a State and National Heritage listed property. It is privately owned and operated and Eco accredited.

If you are looking to stay overnight in the caravan park, dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on a leash at all times, and you clean up after them. Dogs are not allowed dogs in the on-site accommodation (cabins).

Paronella Park gardens are eco-certified, so unfortunately domesticated animals aren’t allowed into the gardens.

The dog sitting service is on the front deck. The park’s meet and greet staff keep them company while you enjoy the gardens. As it’s in a public area, please ensure that your dog is happy to have pats from passers-by.

This service is offered until 4 pm.

The Paronella Caravan and Camping grounds are available to guests who have their own caravan, camper or tent, and a site for a night is included in your entry fee to Paronella Park! Bookings are essential.

Admission includes camping for 24 hours (subject to availability), 2 years return entry, day and night guided tours and free dog sitting.

Learn about José Paronella’s dream to build a castle. He chose a special part of Australia and created Paronella Park. On 5 Hectares beside Mena Creek Falls he built not just his castle, but also a picnic area by the falls, tennis courts, bridges, and a tunnel. It opened to the public in 1935.
