Victoria offers some great places to holiday with your pet. There is a wide range of pet-friendly accommodation to choose from, such as bed and breakfasts, self-catering accommodation, hotels, and caravan parks.
Although this list is by no means exhaustive, we feel it represents a genuine sampling of the diverse accommodation our book has to offer travellers and their four-legged friends.

Myrtle Cottage
This affordable 3-bedroom cottage is pet-friendly & centrally located. While pets are welcome, please be aware that the property isn’t securely fenced. You walk everywhere in the Airey’s Inlet from the cottage including shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and the Alan Noble Sanctuary.

Twisted Willow Cottage
This stunning eco escape is perfect for couples. The quaint cottage is set within Paradise Gardens and nestled in a beautiful rainforest valley only a short 5-10 minute drive from Apollo Bay. Small house-trained pets are welcome but there is no secure fencing or place to leave them unsupervised. Pets are strictly not to be left unattended if you head out inside the property. Any mess made should be cleaned up upon departure. From $141 per night.

This park allows pets during the off-peak season on powered sites only – check the website for dates. Easy walking distance to sensational beaches, restaurants, art gallery, shops, and a cosy pub.

Countrywide Cottages
These 4 self-contained award-winning cottages are set in the beautiful Aussie bushland of Bambra, near Lorne. Not only is the property eco-friendly but it is animal friendly too. The property has fully fenced yards and provides cozy beds, blankets bowls, and homemade doggie treats to canine guests. Dogs are allowed in the Otway Forest Park at the rear of the cottages. There are also lots of dog-friendly beaches within half an hour’s drive. Horses and birds are also welcome.

Beauchamp Falls Camping
Dogs are permitted on leads at this small grassy shaded campground in the northern section of Great Otway National Park. There is a great little walk that leads to the waterfall and creek. Turn off at Skeens Creek just before Apollo Bay. Facilities include well-maintained toilets, campfires.
