Tenterfield Lodge & Caravan Park
This very pet-friendly park even has its own dog wash facility with a dedicated free washing machine for pet blankets in exchange for a gold coin donation to the RSPCA. The park has two non-ensuite pet-friendly cabins and one pet-friendly ensuite cabin available. Sites are level and you can choose a site with a concrete slab or an all-grass site. There is no additional cost for a drive-through site. All sites within the park are pet friendly.

Barefoot at Broken Head

This motel is situated in a peaceful location, across the road from the iconic dog-friendly Tallow Beach. The motel offers self-contained rooms and securely fenced dog-friendly rooms for you and your furry friend. Most rooms at the motel feature a queen-size bed, ceiling fans, TV, bar fridge, and microwave. Some studio rooms also have a kitchenette and air-conditioning. The small basic budget rooms have their own courtyard and ceiling fan only. New wifi (Starlink) recently installed fast and reliable reception in all rooms.
Tallow Beach Motel is a 5-minute walk from the local pub, cafe and shops and is 5 km from the cafés and restaurants of central Byron Bay. There is a local bus service to and from the town centre which stops in front of the motel. Local activities include surfing and fishing at Broken Head Nature Reserve, only a 10-minute walk away. E-bike rental, drop off and pick up from outside your door, a great way to get around town and explore the stunning beaches of the Byronshire.
Palm trees and sun loungers surround the outdoor magnesium pool. Guests can also relax in a quiet corner of the lush gardens.

Reflections Holiday Parks Shaws Bay
Perfectly positioned, this pet-friendly caravan park, set in a waterside location, offers great hospitality and walking tracks to take your dog nearby.
Located two hours south of Brisbane, this park offers a range of accommodation and even has a dog wash for visiting canines. The park is well maintained with clean amenities and there is a pub next door serving tasty fish and chips.

There is a leash-free dog beach nearby at Suffolk Park.

The two properties can be interconnected via a private gate to enable uninterrupted private access. Combining the two properties is a favourite for families holidaying with grandparents.
