Where you can relax with your friends, both furry and otherwise, and choose from a great variety of places to stay with your pet.
After a recent visit, I was happy to see that there are more pet-friendly places in this pretty town, of just under 7000 people, than when I went before. Oh, and the beaches are pretty awesome too.
Rolling Waves 3 Merimbula
Rolling Waves 3 is a truly remarkable and stunning property that is private, exclusive, and has direct access to Merbula’s surf beach. With incredible ocean views, you can relax and unwind in this amazing space. The property is not only great for families but for couples as well, who are looking for a perfect getaway. The main amenities are parking, air con and free Wifi, and Netflix. If you are to bring your pet along, you’re in luck, with pet-friendly stays available you can enjoy your time away with your furry friend while they have fun in the fenced yard on the lower level.

Beach Cabins
Accommodation is in self-catering cabins, 1, 2 & 3 bedrooms with a solar heated pool, BBQ areas, playgrounds, and located just 200 metres down the grassland is the beautiful Short Point Beach which is dog-friendly. The cabins are pet-friendly most of the year – but not during peak Easter & Summer – ring & ask about exact dates.

Sapphire Valley Caravan Park
The park’s ‘Hideaway’ cabins have now been opened up as pet-friendly. It is fully self-contained with 2 bedrooms and will sleep up to 6 people – so there is plenty of room for the whole family with a fully enclosed front veranda to keep your pet safe and secure. Pets are welcome in the park all year round except for the Christmas/January school holidays.
