Boomi Co-Op & Caravan Park
Located on the border of New South Wales and Queensland, north of Moree. Boomi Co-Op & Caravan Park is not only pet-friendly, but it’s also home to Boomi Artesian Baths, which are said to have healing and restorative powers. Many patrons visit the Artesian baths to relieve aches and pains. All types of pets are welcome to stay in the caravan and campsites. The park offers powered and watered sites, non-powered sites, a clean and well-maintained amenities building with toilets, showers, and washing machine plus a general store and takeaway which is open 7 days per week. The adjoining Artesian Baths complex has a 25m main pool, a children’s wading pool and the well renowned hot Artesian pool/spa. The caravan park is a very short walk (50m) through the tennis courts to the pools. Pets aren’t allowing in the baths complex, however, they can be tied up and wait for their owners on the fence between the Co-op and the pool, with a full view of their owners relaxing in the pools.

Reflections Holiday Parks Shaws Bay
Perfectly positioned, this pet-friendly caravan park, set in a waterside location, offers great hospitality and walking tracks to take your dog nearby.
Located two hours south of Brisbane, this park offers a range of accommodation and even has a dog wash for visiting canines. The park is well maintained with clean amenities and there is a pub next door serving tasty fish and chips.
Dogs are permitted at Reflections Holiday Parks Shaws Bay year-round on sites and selected cabins.

Reflections Holiday Park Lennox Head
This park has friendly staff and is located in a good position between the lake and beach. It’s very dog friendly with a dog wash and great places close by for walking your pooch. With clean amenities, a decent camp kitchen, and BBQ, you’ll enjoy a restful stay here.
Dogs are permitted year-round – excluding 21 December -12 January (selected sites as well as selected economy & deluxe cabins).
Only a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Ballina and Byron Bay, the park is within easy walking distance of the relaxed village atmosphere of Lennox Head. Please call the park directly when booking with pets.

Reflections Ferry Reserve Holiday Park
Dogs are permitted to stay at this holiday park, which is positioned on the banks of the beautiful Brunswick River. While pets are allowed at tourist sites they cannot go in or near cabins, conditions apply. Dogs must be on a leash at all times whilst in the camping grounds. Guests can enjoy the surf beach, which is a 3-minute drive away, or fishing, kayaking swimming in the river.

Wooyung Beach Holiday Park
Located 20 minutes north of Byron Bay, this park is one of the few remaining bush camping grounds on Australia’s East Coast. Located about 80 km from Armidale and set amongst beautiful bushland scenery, this free dog-friendly campsite right next to the river has places for campfires, BBQs and a compost toilet.
If you’re looking for calm and quiet then this is a good place to come as the camping area has limited sites available, but it can get busy during school holidays.

Coopernook Forest Camping
A peaceful dog-friendly camping area that is located 28 kilometres north of Taree. The camping area can be reached from the Pacific Highway and Moorland turn-off. Facilities include bins, BBQ facilities, flush toilets, and note there is no power.

Frying Pan Creek Camping Area
Located in Chichester State Forest, this popular free camping spot on the banks of the Telegherry River is dog-friendly but they must be under control at all times. Please be aware that many state forests are close to national parks (especially at Barrington Tops) where dogs are prohibited. Facilities include fire pits, long drop toilets, wooden BBQs, and rubbish bins provided. No bookings required.

Stockton Beach Bush Camping
Free beach and bush camping with your pet. Bring drinking water and firewood, and note there are no toilets. A beach vehicle permit is required and can be purchased at Birubi Beach Service Station, Gan Gan Road.
